We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Visual Content Assistant Project Manager (Graphics Design) to join our creative team. In this role, your main job responsibility will be to lead and manage a team of project coordinators and graphic designers under the guidance of the Art Director. Additionally, you will be responsible for photography and videography vendor management, negotiations, and collaboration to ensure the successful execution of visual content projects.
1. Team Leadership and Management:
– Lead and manage a team of project coordinators and graphic designers, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
– Provide guidance, mentorship, and professional development opportunities to team members, empowering them to excel in their roles.
2. Photography and Videography Vendor Management:
– Source, negotiate with, and manage photography and videography vendors to ensure the availability of high-quality visual assets for projects.
– Collaborate with vendors to meet project requirements and ensure timely delivery of visual content.
3. Project Coordination:
– Assist the Art Director in planning, organising, and executing graphics design projects from concept to completion.
– Collaborate with graphic designers, content creators, and other stakeholders to gather project requirements and ensure successful delivery of visual content.
4. Graphics Design Management:
– Work closely with graphic designers to ensure that visual assets align with project objectives, brand guidelines, and quality standards.
– Provide feedback and guidance to the design team to maintain consistency and excellence in visual content.
5. Timelines and Milestones:
– Support the Art Director in establishing project timelines, milestones, and budgets.
– Monitor project progress and communicate updates to the Art Director and project team to ensure adherence to deadlines.
6. Team Collaboration:
– Foster a collaborative and productive team environment, promoting creative thinking and effective communication.
– Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of visual content within larger projects.
7. Quality Control and Review:
– Conduct thorough reviews of graphic design work to ensure it aligns with project briefs and meets quality standards.
– Collaborate with the design team to address any necessary revisions or improvements.
1. Education and Experience:
– A Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field is a plus.
– Proven experience in team leadership, project coordination, or graphics design in a creative environment.
2. Skills and Abilities:
– Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple design projects and a team of project coordinators simultaneously.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with designers, project coordinators, stakeholders, and vendors.
– Proficiency in design software and tools to review and provide input on design work.
3. Creativity and Design Knowledge:
– Creative eye and understanding of design principles to provide constructive feedback and ensure high-quality visual content.
4. Team Collaboration:
– Ability to work well in a team, lead and support project coordinators, and coordinate team efforts.
